  • GISD Collaboration Efforts: We have extended our collaboration with the GISD, receiving support from Superintendent Dr. Richard Lopez. Discussions are underway with their purchasing department, with Dr. Lopez playing a key role in decision-making. We will continue coordinating with Nurse K as part of this strategic initiative.
  • Recovery Resource Alliance: Acknowledgements to Michael and Becky for their crucial contributions to enhancing our recovery resources, guiding us through the complexities of addiction support.

  • Livegy Fundraising Event: Scheduled for November 14th, Livegy aims to generate funds, surpassing expectations.
  • Collaborative MLK Parade Float: APAA has requested our creative input for their float in January’s MLK parade. We are developing a project scope and cost estimate for an anticipated audience of 25,000.
  • Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is being sought to formalize the collaboration.
Alaskan Narcan Initiative: We have engaged with our contacts in Alaska to install a Narcan vending machine, with shipping costs covered. This initiative seeks to extend our mission to northern regions.
  • San Antonio Narcan Delivery: Scheduled for November 1st, we will deliver a Narcan Vending Machine alongside an artistic installation. We are coordinating with local media for potential coverage.
  • UNC Art Collaboration: A Narcan Vending Machine is being sent to UNC in North Carolina for artistic enhancement by Tiffany, aiming to make it a focal point for students.
Nar Can Do It Website Launch: Introducing narcandoit.org, a platform for resource sharing and partnership collaboration, enhancing Narcan awareness.
  • QR Code Innovation: We have implemented QR codes linking to valuable resources, user surveys, and a brief Narcan-use tutorial, contributing to a comprehensive data collection effort.
  • Enhanced Community Collaboration: Engaging with Dallas Fire Department officials, city council representatives, and DART to enhance our opioid response initiatives, working towards improved community health.
  • Narcan Vending Machine Art Phases: Currently redesigning 30 machines for artistic installation by the end of the year. Despite the absence of funding or sponsorship, our commitment to this creative endeavor remains steadfast.

  • Brand Sensitivity in MOU: It’s vital to maintain clarity around brand sensitivity in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to ensure all parties respect the brand’s image and values.
  • Social Media Collaboration: Increasing social media presence through strategic partnerships is a priority. Sharing content and joint initiatives will help amplify our message and reach a broader audience.
  • Next Steps in South Dallas: Plans involve local operations in South Dallas, including a collaboration with an APAA artist on a new design. This will be part of a project that includes distributing free Narcan. We’re in the process of cost assessments and have identified a contact to guide us.

  • Peer Recovery and Support: There is a strong focus on peer recovery and support, especially for youth and adolescents, to foster a recovery lifestyle.

  • South Dallas Focus: Continued efforts will be directed towards uplifting South Dallas communities.
